Weekly health style change update June 17 – 24, 2017

This week has been an interesting week. We finished the Wisconsin Quilt Shop Hop. Except for Monday night I kept on making wise choices in my eating. But I do have to say that the Not my Father’s Root Beer and the pizza tasted good. I believe in moderation though to obtain my goals. Instead of beating myself over not eating right for one day I believe in moving on and doing better a little more each day. Quality over quantity is what I call it. I believe that I should enjoy the food that I want to eat however just not every day like I used to. I feel less bloated now since I’ve started this change. My heartburn has also decreased as well. The knees do not bother me as much as what they did but I will have to wait for fall and winter to come to see if it made a significant difference in the pain.

Yesterday morning on my way to work I saw one of my neighbors jogging and wished I could do that. I know that this will be a slow climb because I don’t want to inflame my knees and have a setback. I will continue towards this goal over the next coming months.

My goal for the next week is to hit the 25-pound weight loss target. This should be easily obtainable since I only have to lose two more pounds to get there.
