Miles Walked: 3 miles!
I started off determined to get 3 miles in. I set the pedometer on my phone for 3 miles to hold myself accountable. Shortly after I started I looked behind me and of course guess who was there. I decided that this cat was not ruining my goals. I then made the decision of doing laps between the house and the barn at the old house to make sure I didn’t have to rescue her later like before. I then began walking up and down the road. It took a total of 4 trips going this route to reach those 3 miles and quite a number of passing that cat along the way. I’m thinking that after awhile she wasn’t too impressed with what I was doing. She was really giving me some catattitude. I also upped my mph from 2.8 to 3.0 mph. It ended up that this took me an hour to do 3 miles. Eventually I would like to see if I can get it up to 4.0 mph to increase the amount of calories burned. Here are some pictures that I took along the way. I did see a deer on this trip.
